AlKifah Contracting Company Achieves a Major Milestone with TRSDC - AlKifah Contracting

March 24, 2022, Dammam Saudi Arabia – AlKifah Contracting Company (KCC), Saudi Arabia’s premier contracting company, actively participating in the delivery of Vision 2030, has reached a major milestone on its R03-R02B01- Costal Village(COV) Enlarged Z Type Workers Accommodations Packages A and B project for The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC). On Thursday the 24th of March 2022, Alkifah Contracting Company announced the completion of the delivery and installation of all precast works. 

Quoting Mr. Hardeep Singh Bindra, Senior Project Director,” KCC completed a huge task of the safe installation of 37,220 precast elements within a remarkably compressed timeline. This is an important milestone achieved on the Z Type Apartment Buildings project. The buildings are approaching readiness for welcoming the staff within the latter part of the year. KCC faced numerous challenges due to the Covid-13 Pandemic and the crippling restrictions on the movement of labor and materials. Additionally, the pressure on the supply chain due to the various competing mega projects exacerbated the management of the project. However, KCC continues to deliver on this project with zeal and determination to provide our valued client with the accommodations to house his staff and labor.”

The Z Type Buildings are part of the Coastal Village being developed by TRSDC along the Red Sea, KSA. It is intended to house 10,000 staff and laborers and is part of the infrastructure supporting the luxury hotels under construction. The project consists of 40 Buildings and a total built-up area of 51,600 square meters over 363,462 square meters of land along the Red Sea. KCC’s contract was an EPC undertaking to deliver the project in 18 months.
